The History of the Poster Read all about the revolution of the color poster, and how it transformed the streets of Paris, and ultimately, the world.	The Entertainers There is little debate that the cabarets and revues of 19th century Paris played a big role in the proliferation of the poster. Learn about mysterious cabarets such as the Moulin Rouge and the Folies Bergere, and explore the worlds of Jane Avril, Sarah Bernhardt, and others!
Les Maîtres de l'Affiche A WetCanvas! Exclusive! You can now browse the complete "Les Maîtres de l'Affiche" (Masters of the Poster) that was originally published in 1896. It contains 240 color reproductions of the most famous posters of the day, as well as 16 specially issued lithographs!
